Instead of trashing the dress, save it and take a cute photo of your daughter in it, then save it and give it to her on her wedding day. A personal mother to daughter wedding gift that can't be beat! So cute! She looks so adorable!

 

So don't trash your dress, don't store it forever and guilt trip your daughter into wearing it, use it as a great photo prop instead.

She's not a mini-bride, instead she is just a little girl in a pretty dress not trying to look like she's twenty-five instead of eight. Keep in mind when you're choosing a flower girl's dress that she isn't meant to be a mini-bride. Keep her dress (and her shoes) age appropriate.
